I loved 1989, I must have listened to it cover to cover dozens of times, but I am much more intrigued by this supposed new direction killing off the old Taylor than 1989 Pt II.

The first single wasn't great (especially "the old Taylor can't come to the phone right now"), but Jesus this new one is bad. Like, really, really bad.

Also, her new scheme with Ticketmaster is a joke. There is no chance that it stops bots from buying tickets, and it likely just means they will be re-sold at a higher price. Pretty poor form after the whole Spotify debacle.

Look What You Made Me Do is utter trash. The sound is woeful, and it's not her at all. Fine, be pissed, but you can be pissed and still produce something good. It is horrible.
