Isn't Walker from Broken Hill? Why would there be a 'go home factor' to Western Sydney? Because they're in the same state?
Broken Hill is more SA than NSW tbh

Fox Sports just showed him at the Port v Freo game sinking piss with a bunch of mates. Doesn't look like the commitment is there and appears gone from Adelaide at season's end.

Do you live in some kind of sterile Mormon bubble?

There is no question as to whether Australia has become a nanny state, the only question is how bad it is going to get.

No, don't begrudge him having a beer, just didn't look all that great having beer at Footy Park. Go to the Pub like every other footballer away from the cameras etc. Even mumbles , in his interview on Fox, said he will be sourcing out a response during the week. His words to the effect of " it was interesting " didn't suggest that all was well.

He's back in the team this week isn't he ?

Genius. Figured out a way to have a beer at a game of footy and get picked the next week. Simply get the media on your back for something ridiculous so that Craig puts you back in the team to highlight the fact that this thing was a massive media blowup.

ok ok, maybe it had something to do with form, I wouldn't know....

Anyone have a link to the article by Craig Hutchinson which supposedly said Swans are the front runner for Taylor Walker in 2012?

Well he is from NSW, makes sense.
Doubt it's true though.
He's from Broken Hill NSW.It is well known that the Broken Hill people relate more to South Australia than NSW. He grew up supporting the Crows and I think he'd be more intent on establishing himself in the Crows rather than grab a huge amount to go to Sydney. He has been well handled, despite what the media keep telling us and is playing at Norwood after suspension and injury.I think he still needs another game for tjhe Redlegs before he returns to AFL.

Following on with that, Terry Wallace hinted that Walker could be going to Sydney, not sure if he'd actually no anything, but rumour grows

Your final three words says it all.

Let's get one thing straight. Taylor Walker will NOT be at GWS in 2012. There are 5 AFL clubs showing interest in him, all of them are Melbourne based. He will either remain with the Crows, or head to Victoria. One club in particular (one looking for a key forward) is very keen to have Taylor at their club and doing a lot of running.

I think your Barking up the right tree.;):D

Well done :)

Which club?

I think you can read between the lines there can't you?

He might have the club right, but not player. There is talk from Clare that a Port player is wanting out at years end.

Sick of being a defender and there is a Clare connection at the Bulldogs who knows of his forward form.

For a club that can only pay 92% would be a good option as he would be cheap as chips.
