Pros:

• We Won The Minor Premiership

• We played Terrible and were Very Very Luck To Win
• Players not Putting in 100%
• Terrible Errors
• Umpires Cheating

I was Also Assaulted at the Footy and This What Happend:

By the Idiot who sat next to me. I was Screaming at the Umps who where so Helping the Crows it was Not Funny and He told me 1st That Be Quiet or He will Shove my Hat down my Throat. Then I told to get Lost if he did not like it. Then in the Last QTR when it was Close and I was yelling and Screaming he Grabbed me and Pulled me down to my Seat and Told me to Shut Up and Settle Down and I told him to get Stuffed and I tried to get some Security to come and Kick him out.

If saying that a player went missing bigtime is an attack on him then so be it.

Pretty much this. While he was poor early on he improved as teh game wore on and it wasn't a night for the forwards anyway.

Err, Durr, of course he plays. (No offense bud).

We only have 3 talls on our list, that can carry us in September up forward, and they are Dawes, Cloke and Leeroy as the 2nd ruck/forward.

Fraser would be a joke in September, Jack is being groomed as a backup, and both Meds and Leon are fighting for a forward pocket spot.

Dawes started badly tonight, but his second half was better, and he had a goal r*ped off him by the umpires (although Leeroy kicked it after anyway).

Dawes also had Rutten tonight, and he will only get better every time he plays on an elite defender.

Dawes will only get better, no need to bag him too much, he was by far not our worst tonight.

I don't know how you can possibly believe the umpires favoured us. Either you listened to, and bought, the biased anti-Collingwood commentary from Walls and Quatermain on Channel 10, or you did not go to the game.

There is no way at all we got favoured. We got absolutely murdered by umpires today. I can go through individual situations, but how is a goal not an advantage. Since when is a set shot more advantageous than a goal? Where we after some other result? And don't give me that he had already called time on, because he hadn't. It was a terrible decision. As were almost all of them. The amount of times Jolly was man handled in the ruck and no free kick paid, the Jarryd Blair push in the back from 10 metres out not paid. The Travis Cloke non-50 metre penalty. The 10 or so dropping the ball decisions that were not paid.

Some of the worst umpiring I have ever seen in my life today.

Like all players, if Fraser is promoted he will have to play well to hold his spot.

There is talk of resting players... why rest players in form and not a player/players out of form?

Talk of Josh getting a game before end of season is nothing new and he had a BOG performance(so I read)... is that to be completely ignored?

We must take each week as it comes and use whatever resources in the way of players that we have in our quest to bring home the big one.


Josh for all we know may come into the backline to replace Goldsack who in my opinion also played poorly and made a lot of unforced errors.

My comment that Dawes played poorly may have hit a few nerves here in DTM's thread where Dawes fans often frequent due to the fact DTM just loves this guy... good on him.. we all have favourites...and like I commented to another post that if you feel that Dawes played well then I really need to go back and watch the replay again and will glady withdraw my comment that he had a poor game if that is the case.

I am all for stablity, "if the wheel aint broke why fix it" is one of my most used sayings this season... I too have nothing against you personally.. sorry on my behalf if it seemed that way

We have had a wonderful second half to the season and you can put that down to a few things 2 of which are lack of injuries and the much mentioned player depth and with the latter the fact that players in certain positions are being pushed hard to hold their spot due to the performances in the VFL.

We have here a young man who is our future at the club as a full foward, he has improved in many of his short comings that I was once critical of... one of which was overhead marking.

Dawes is a big framed man and sometimes I become frustrated that he does not use it and explode out of the blocks.. I for one would love to see him not only kick a bag of goals now and then but to really make his presence felt as a realiable target up forward... I thought the other week he was on track for that.

I still think Chris fulls short on leading up the field and in his timing to do so.. all good forwards seem to know how to make and use the space in front of them.... when players upfield are not honouring them most forwards will let them know it

His place in the team this week is in the hands of the decision makers and if they were to give him a run in the VFL I would hope it sends Chris a big message that we need him come the finals.... on the other hand Fraser playing well in the VFL might be enough of a wake up call to him and Chris might come out against the Hawks and show us what he is made of and give just reason as to why he is in the side come the finals
