Three weeks in and everyone hates themselves for all of their mid price selections, ie: Lonergan, Rich, De Goey etc etc.Goddamn JLT. My ruck & fwd line has gone mad!

Even Libba last year who was a fallen premo turned out to be a failed mid pricer as he only averaged about 90, odds are that JOM isn't going to go that much higher, so what exactly is the point? He's never been a premo before either unlike Libba who went 107 and 110 without missing a game in the preceding seasons before his year out injured.Yep! It's exactly why I'm considering Taranto rather than Swallow/O'Meara.Even Libba last year who was a fallen premo turned out to be a failed mid pricer as he only averaged about 90, odds are that JOM isn't going to go that much higher, so what exactly is the point? The issue with that is how are you filling up your midfield? There's not enough rookies to chooseIt's exactly why I'm considering Taranto rather than Swallow/O'Meara.
Both O'Meara and Swallow max out at 95 average, and that's only if everything goes right which more likely than not it won't.
Possibility of both missing the odd game as well which doesn't help. I'm really cooling on both
That's my problem, there isn't exactly a wealth of rookies to choose from, meaning mid pricers have more relevanceThe issue with that is how are you filling up your midfield? There's not enough rookies to choose
Okay its team delete time
I now have a record level of midpricers
220k - 499k
10 players on field ( and i dont have omeara or swallow)

129 seems to be the number that has Gawns price sitting the same up until his bye.
Remember there's going to be high scores and low scores in there so this isn't a great guide to use. A low score will push his breakeven through the roof, but he can certainly counter that with a 174!
I like your team structure, rookies will pick themselves come next week but looks good.View attachment 345464
ok guys go nuts
both have missed 2 years, so questions marks over how many games they play.Probably a stupid question that can simply be answered with "mid-pricers", but why are people so against the idea of selecting either JOM or Swallow? JOM averaged 97 in his last season and Swallow averaged 103 in his last full season.
Am I missing something?
Taranto and SPP on field, confident we'll get plenty to choose from to complete a 3 man bench. I'm not buying into the fear of not enough rookies presenting themselves. Happens every year, but there is always enough. How good they are is another questionThe issue with that is how are you filling up your midfield? There's not enough rookies to choose
Likelihood of returning immediately to career best form/scoring given their respective serious injuries? Combined with risk of reinjury, risk of being managed. Career best is still sub-premo level. If not ultimately keepers, cash generation hurt by inflated starting price.Probably a stupid question that can simply be answered with "mid-pricers", but why are people so against the idea of selecting either JOM or Swallow? I feel better now with 5 on field in that range.Okay its team delete time

I think that sums up all the rational arguments. It's just about whether you buy them or not
