I'm feeling this is pretty close to what I will start (provided Archie Smith isn't named for Bris).

Options I am considering is to downgrade Higgins or Crouch for Tarranto or Olive/JOM and bringing in Gawn or Goldstein at R1.

Thoughts people?

May as well pick the whole Norff team

Rucks are gonna be interesting this year. No clear cut "set and forget" options should make for some unique line ups. At the moment I'm running with Hickey/Sandilands, although fair chance that reverts back to the original Gawn/Goldie at R1 +/- R2.

Turner an interesting one. Potentially great value but is he likely to find a regular place?

WHat are your thoughts on the JS of most rookies Del?
Srs, so many are shaky, they may all play round one like Houston and T Miles etc... but really after that its really not comforting.
Guys like Parfitt may only play one game then be gone. As I have said before your team will look like swiss cheese pretty soon.
We are shitty that we have lots to choose from but most have terrible JS.

So...you are saying a rookie may have a poor game and get dropped.
How is this different to any season or with any rookie?

Lol at whole team! Great rookie options from Arden Street this year.

Based on coaches comments Turner will play all games if fit. Much better option than most forward rookies in my opinion.

Thoughts? I know the rucks are super risky but have got cover atleast... and alot of expensive rookies but pending on round 1 teams they could change. Not many options out there at this stage. Few mid pricers also but liking this side.

Seems as if every team is nearly identical, with just a couple of tweaked players e.g. Shaw/Doch, Hanners/JPK, JOM/Swallow etc. Has it always been this way, or have the increasing popularity of social media discussion around AFL Fantasy just made our SC teams a little bit too similar?

Obviously to do well it comes down to trades and luck now, but is pretty disappointing to see so many teams looking the same.

It's been this way for at least the last 4-5 years IMO.
But there's a reason why. The rookies pick themselves. Premium mids pick themselves. And by then you've got at least a dozen players in common.

Realistically there's only 50-60 players that even should be in consideration for anybody's team so it's not surprising that they look similar.

Still looking at most teams posted here I have at least 7-8 different players selected.

There is a list in order of Username.
Yours will come under E.
Go down the list until you get to usernames that start with E.
Keep going until you get to Edmund Hunt.
Once you get to Edmund Hunt there will be a number to the right of Edmund Hunt.
This number is your league number.

Head to the leagues section which is above all the threads your used to seeing.
There you will see all the Bigfooty Div leagues.
Find the one with your league number.
Post on there and ask for the league captain to PM the league code to you.

Once you have the league code head to the Supercoach website.
Click on leagues and join new league.
Click on I've been invited to join a league.
Enter the league code and you're in.

Interesting section on PODs in Jock Reynold's podcast, talks about how sometimes we can fall into the trap of picking a player based on their ownership % rather than their likelihood of outscoring others of similar price or same position.

However still always room for a POD or two!

Well i like pods in the mids usually, alot to choose from even with players over 100+ averages. Currently have have 2 mid premos under 7% ownership

How many points are you leaving on the table by not having Danger as C (or Pendles or Gawn)?

For a start most of the showings in the JLT were only so so. Few of them scream out and demand a good run.
Most will be stop gaps till players get back etc......
