MID too light. Needs JPK.

Latest version. Almost content with this one. Jack Martin instead of Hartlett could be an option. His DPP status could potentially protect my thin forward line and allow me to upgrade Coniglio to JPK.

Balls of steel if to run this for cash leagues.

Any recommendations?

1. I was strictly against Jack Martin at first, but after looking at his finish to the season, I'm sold for that price. Either him or Hibberd, as I didn't like the look of 3x rookies on the field down back.

2. My forward line looks cheap and shite, but my top four players all began last season at $500k> so there is a lot of risk, but I'm keen on it at the moment. If any one of them doesn't start round one, my team will be completely shaken up though.

First one for the year, $368,800 left, looks light on for top end talent and probably need to cull a sun or two, need a little more rookie info at this stage

Bit early to call...he does offer great Value.
Won't play every game but if you get the timing right he could be a great pick.
Wanna see how he looks in a preseason game before putting a line through him.
35 years of age coming off an ACL. Never averaged over 100. Has averaged 84 over the past 7 seasons. Pass.

A few changes, dropped Heeney for the 1st time. 22k leftover

Too many maybes. Pick a few of Williams, Hartlett, KK, Murphy, Swallow, Ryder, Bennell + Roughead and upgrade them to proven super premiums on their respective lines. The value approach looks good, and will get you off to a pretty good start - but as the season progresses, the cream always rises to the top. There'll be teams starting 1-2 less "keepers" than you right now, but I would be willing to bet my house on them overtaking you by the bye rounds as your value keeper picks will all likely be 5-10PPG the REAL standouts in their respective lines.

I'm saying this from the perspective of somebody who went down this path last year, and had their worst year ever. The spotfires will happen, and you will have to put them out. Meanwhile, all of those guys who are falling behind just sit there and rot. I was stuck with Brodie Smith and Elliott Yeo vs peoples Boyd and Shaw combos for weeks. Prick of a game!

Bob not a keeper in a competitive defense field this year
Myers maybe the most valuable player in any team
Acres very iffy pick
No do this plz

Yeah every time I see acres in my team I just don't like what I've had to give up to get him in

I can see him averaging 90s, but SPS could average 75-80 and I'll have given up a lot for 10 points.

I've changed up my team and bit and probably gonna sit on it now for a while.

Public version #4

Gonna sit on this for a bit now. Pretty happy with the structure around the byes. 22, 23 and 20.

Shaw, Laird, jj, Martin, Berry, m hibberd, Ryan, Stewart

Danger, Pendles, Treloar, JPK, Fyfe, swallow, balic, SPP, Pickett, Witherden, Graham

Maxxxy, sandi, strnadica

Dollhouse, Chad (Oh God what have I done!!) Touk touk, Ryder, brown, Bolton, Rioli, Long

Have Martin & long as def/fwd DPP
Have hibberd & Witherden and def/mid DPP
Have balic & Pickett with DPP links to 4 fwds

$92k left over

I like a lot of mid pricers this season but you're probably right in that I've gone overboard. The main reason for that is because its pre-preseason games so there is huge uncertainty regarding rookies. After JLT ill likely drop several mid-pricers for rookies and upgrade others for guns. I also got stuck with Yeo last season so i know the frustration of mid-priced madness gone wrong.

One of the first versions for this year...Almost wish I could lock myself out until a week prior, instead of this constant back and forth :drunk:

Not really sold on some options, particularly fwd/def but this will change at least 50 times over, so I'm not gonna lose sleep over it yet.

I like a lot of the midpricers too, thankfully I play in a SC Draft cash league. That allows for me to vent my speculation on all of the "what could he become?" picks!

Very well rounded team kegs

Very well rounded team kegs

Thanks Jack.

Some real "wait and sees" amongst them but I like the DPP swings available with this team.

Plus the 92k left means if sandi goes down early I can switch him for a 400k fwd and push Ryder into the rucks so I only have to burn 1 trade to sort it out
