he wasnt traded because he wanted to stay at Port. There was interest in him. so please, before you insult anymore Port players, please get your facts correctHe wasn't traded because he's shit and nobody wanted him.
But yes Port payed overs and for too long.
Will be interesting to see how he goes this year
he highlighted the 'below tier' rucks of which Goldy isnt one. he accuses me of not mentioning his name in that statementQuite the opposite I think mate
My post would suggest otherwise, no?you calling Goldy a below tier ruck?![]()

Because you have a plethora of options to trade those fwd/def rookies to if they break down. With witts (unless you're taking Ryder in the fwd line) you don't have the same options and will have to burn 2 trades to correct it.How's it any different to taking McGrath, McCluggage, Knight, McCarthy etc?

its not hard to understand, but SC is about risks, that was one that failed.Because you have a plethora of options to trade those fwd/def rookies to if they break down. With witts (unless you're taking Ryder in the fwd line) you don't have the same options and will have to burn 2 trades to correct it.
Remember when all those people said BELLCHAMBERS! Bellchambers! What great value for my ruck! So much more money for elsewhere.
Boom, TBC spudded it, everyone was ******. There wasn't a rookie to trade down to and trading up meant culling a cow early etc.
Why is this so hard to understand?
Nice. Rolling with the same midfield atm (except hanners over JPK)I don't post much here, but read a lot and am keen for any opinions on this version. Not convinced on Rocky, initially had the Bont too. Trying to nail some good POD's is where i struggle...Will see JLT and try to make some informed decisions pre-rd 1View attachment 337045 View attachment 337046 View attachment 337047
training with defenders as the play maker off half back.We still talking about Hartlett
Locked in at D3 for me.
Good or bad?training with defenders as the play maker off half back.

With Vlastuin I think while Dimma is the coach he'll continue to get shafted as you say. The midfield group runs really deep, Cotchin, Martin, Caddy, Prestia, B. Ellis, Grigg, Miles, C. Ellis, McIntosh and Graham, obviously a lot of those guys, Vlastuin included are position versitile, it's just a really big gamble to take when there are a lot of guys more midfield proven. Dimma will likely hit the revert button if they lose games early.
I had Rocky for most of the preseason, he's only gone out in recent days to fit an extra premium down back, all I'm saying is that while you're taking risks on other players it might be best to get some security so if a few of your risks are out each week you've still got sufficient scoring.
Witt's is different because I think McGrath will average 75ish where Witts will struggle to score that much, he's more of a genuine tap ruck who really doesn't tackle, get a large chunk of disposals or mark the ball so all of his points will have to come from tap outs to advantage. Also with McGrath, Ainsworth ect it's easier to upgrade them because premo FWDS and Backs aren't as expensive as premo rucks, rucks will plato at 560k where a premo fwd/back could drop as low as 480 with a few bad games so starting with an expensive rookie in those lines is made much easier. You'd also need to make the Witts upgrade before round 9 because both him and Ryder have the same bye and we need 22 players or you'll be copping a donut.
Fyfe, Ryder and Roughead on top of Rocky, Witts and Vlastuin is a lot of if butts and maybes. Better to be picking consistent scorers week in week out and maybe you'll get lucky on one or two risks but taking 4 + stars returning from injury is a lot is all I'm saying.
not sure, hence the watchGood or bad?
Prefer him playing mid

how is JOM a shit pick?
i think he didRemember everyone that went with Giles R2 in 2012? that worked out pretty well and we still had 4 ruck spots back then!
Plus I am taking Ryder in the FWD line, so if he is a bust it's an easy fix.
Bellchambers was also a confirmed shittruck who couldn't stay on the field + almost 100k more than Witts.
Did you get burnt by Bellchambers?![]()

Don't know why I picked him but man that was a putrid decisionTBC has played 79 games in 8 seasons.
18 his max is 2013, 8 and 10 the next 2 years
injury prone, HELL YEAH
Backing in Stef to get back to 110+ avgROFL so people aren't going to take Witts because they got burnt by Belltrashcan a couple years ago
More Witts for me then![]()
