Carlisle and Steele no good from a SuperCoach perspective. Perhaps downgrade them to rookies and upgrade a couple of others to genuine premos (e.g Stef Martin to Gawn)
Why is Steele a no from you?
Huge numbers in the NEAFL and will get plenty of game time you'd imagine.
Finds the ball easy enough

I'm enjoying seeing everyone's teams, lots of inspired and risky choices. I like it.

I don't know where to post this so l'll plonk it here (mods feel free to move it elsewhere). Seeing that females are a minority on here, l'd like to bring us together a bit, so l have started a ladies only private league. If you're interested in joining pm me. Cheers.

From what I gather Kat, I don't recall seeing any other females posting on this board but I could be wrong. The more the merrier. Welcome aboard.

Untitled.png Opinions ladies and gentleman, i'd like to fit Bennel in but that would be at the expense of some promising rookies.

Yeah, l don't recall seeing any other ladies posting here last year, only references by a few other posters about their wives/partners SC teams. Feel free fella's to let your SC ladies know! Cheers

The general consensus among St Kilda supporters is that he will have a gathering season due to coming back from injury and having a more limited preseason. He should get solid game time although the majority of it will be spent on the half forward line which will limit his numbers compared to when he was in the guts in the NEAFL. As a result I can only see him averaging between 50-80 for the year, a bit in between for SuperCoach.

why would we want that?

Strnadica is perfect for loopholes, plus a lot will have Ryder as coverage. Getting an R3 who MIGHT play is pointless.

plus Freo play the most Sunday games this year = perfect for C Loopholing
An R3 that might play will make some cash which you never know could come in handy.

Ryder might not play. Ever owned him before? Been burned quite handsomely with late outs before.

You might be short of cover in the forwards when you need to swing in Ryder. If you have 1 injury sitting on the forward pine then you're going in to the round with no emergencies for the whole line.

If Freo plays the most on Sunday then it means Ryder plays the most before the Freo game. Half the season you won't be able to use Ryder mid round for cover.

And if you go the whole season with 30/30 playing - not one injury - I will eat my hat. There's always a bloke from round 2 onwards that you can loophole.

For 15k it's good value.

cant see the point tbh. R3 for me isnt about making cash, its about the loophole. yes, cash may come in handy, but not a major factor in me picking the R3.

only reason Ryder wont play is if god forbid, Lobbe turns into Goldstein or Gawn for a season.... unlikely to ever happen.

a lot of IFs and mights in your argument. not like no one ever has gone into a round with no cover. it happens, you move on.

its better to have that loophole in place, rather than hoping there is someone you can loophole.

loophole > cash generation/possible points

that 15k might be the difference between a premo and a super premo.

very weak midfield. With the selection of so many great mids, this is where you would want to stack.
Watts and Cameron are very spectulative picks. Ryder/Heeney/Bennell/Roughead all better options around that price.

Hurley is risky as well, can only see him averaging around 85, which is good, but not enough for a top 10 defender.

move McCluggage and Bowes into fwd for Balic and Cameron, swap Watts for one of the 4 mentioned above and pick a couple of premos. (just saw Fyfe on bench) still a weak mid even with him on field.

try that and see

First time playing fantasy footy (only been following the game for 3 years), so I expect this is wank.

I put Butler in purely because Here2tellyouwhy says he's the LOCK OF THE CENTURY. It was so oversold that I still can't tell if it was sarcastic, because I have no idea who or what Butler is.

too many Dogs.

Boyd, Libba, Murphy are the 3 id look at getting rid of.

Butler is yuck (dont get sucked into what Here2tellyouwhy says)

Priddis isnt the best option for that price range IMO, better for cheaper or slightly more.

id go Murphy, Butler, Priddis, Libba, Boyd, Stevens OUT

Cheers, obviously will spend the extra money just wanted some feedback. Hurley averaged 95 in his last season.
