Adams is one of our better in and under types, he only floats to hb occasionally during games. Hes a bull!

I agree though it's just a matter of if he can play 22 games, last year he was injured/suspended.

Year before he got suspended heaps.

Year before that he couldn't get a game as It was his first season at the pies.

Hes in the leadership group now, get the feeling he's in for a big year!!

Tom Jonas and Matt Lobbe are in Port's leadership group too and played SANFL footy for a majority of the year, Adams is a better player yes but leadership positions don't mean much if you're injured or missing games.
Agreed his game is based off contested footy but Pendlebury, Wells, Sidebottom and Treloar are all much better clearance players which means he'll get pushed out much more than I see him in there.

Brett Deledio averaged 95 this year but you wouldn't have said you'd pick him at all last year, I just view Adams in a similar boat because he misses so much footy every year

Taylor Adams is a marvelous talent with a mix of both grunt and class. He's very versatile and can swing it down back, forward or where he's most natural in the middle. Perhaps with a little bias, he could become a genuine elite player very soon I think. Durability is the only problem, which is why I'm not picking him to start in 2017 but I'll be watching him very closely and if no injury worries are there, he'll likely be my first defensive upgrade.

Don't think a FWD link is the most important thing for round one, hopefully I have 29/30 players playing.
I'll be able to trade a M/F link in with ease during the year when it becomes a requirement.
