why the dislike or discontent with people picking Hartlett?
has averaged 90s since 2011 and went 101 in 2015. 16 was hampered by injury but he will be back bigger than ever in 2017

Lamb will be lucky to play a game or two and probably shouldn't be considered pending some preseason domination.

Lids could be like StevieJ and have a great year but new role new club I don't see him scoring above or even at his starting price.

Better option than Adams who people seem to be all over.
I've seen people worried that Lidsmight be plonked on the HFF and they think it's a bad thing for some strange reason. It's his best position by far. He'll get 20+ and 2 goals a game every week.
I can see him being the same old Lids as always but a lot less likely to get tagged when he's got the all GWS boys around him instead of just Cotch and Dusty most weeks.

Problem is Lids wins Richmond a game 120+
Playing for GWS he has so much competition for points and guys will influence the match just as much that I see the 120s turning into 100s and his average suffering from it.
Shit even Toby will get 20 touches and kick a couple, then add StevieJ and he will have to work his arse off to influence the match enough to average 95+
I'm happy for him to play HFF and agree it's where he plays best but he has competition at GWS. His competition at Richmond was Nahas and Lambert along HF.
Best thing going for him is he will be hungry for a flag, is a gun and GWS will win 16+ games.

Hoping once rookies present themselves / it becomes clearer which discounted blokes are really viable it'll be easier to shed 250-450k players. No Danger / Gawn, if they hit get off to a flyer it'd backfire badly. Not sure on Heppell. Bennell who knows? FWIW like HH, hope Gaz fires like in 2010.

How many decent cows do we think have a good chance of lining up R1? I won't pick anyone who isn't named R1 (e.g. Petracca idling away on the bench for way too long)
For last season's cheaper rookies who played R1 and went 60+ in the NAB (2+ games):
Tippa + Brown + Davis + Dunkley + Hewett + McCarthy + Adams + Menaspew = 8
Then we had 2 more expensive rookies that were pretty much seen as must have (Weitering, Mills), some people picked other ones e.g. Oliver or Parish.
Rest of the starting cows had AFL experience e.g. Dea, Kerridge, Libba, Wells, BenKen.
This year I am guessing numbers will be similar in each category e.g.
cheap rookies = I will budget 9 since it was a strong draft
$$ rookies = I guess 2 of them will look like scoring enough to be worth the price. Hope they are not mid only because mid is jam packed.
other cows = Myers, Swallow, Sandi, Black
It's tempting to max out on rookies to afford tons of premo's but I will stick to this template to avoid major re-work when R1 lineups drop.
