You could make the argument that the premo rucks are underpriced given there will be no 3rd man up sharking hitouts this year. Set & forget line for me.

I'm really thinking set and forget in rucks. Gawn and Goldy with Ryder as a forward. The 3rd man up rule works in Gawn and Goldy favour.

With a bit of playing around and thinning my defence I might run with the ultra..super..fully sick midfield of...
Danger/Pendles/Ablett/JPK/Rocky/Fyfe/SPP/Myers and have Will Brodie on the pine along with some cheaper rooks.
wouldn't have to worry about upgrading my mid for a while and even if one of the guns go down, I'll have enough cash from them to get whoever I want.
GAZ deserves another go...only the SC GOAT!..all others are solid.
Mid looks so damn good!

Really solid side - strong structure and I like the Joey, Treloar, Adams and JPK selections.

But if Gawn goes off like last year, you'll have some painful weeks.

6k left. Agree with Gawn. Don't want to pay the big dollars for both Danger and Gawn, so went Danger. Hoping Goldy can match him and Grundy to improve to around that 105-110 mark.

A little to risky with unproven and injury prone players.
Deledio Rocky Beams Adams haven't played full seasons in years.
Caddy Mitchell Lloyd KK all at new clubs or aren't proven premos for their lines.
Goldy over Gawn also risky especially if Gawn goes buts early as everyone will have him.

Strategy this year is to pick only premos I know will finish top 8/10/3/8 respectively in their positions. I don't want to start a premo who will lose me games come finals. Def is weak, but outside Doch and Shaw, I'm not confident in any other player who will finish top 8 - is a wait and see at the moment. Mids are delicious, confident all of Danger, Pendles, Hannes, Bont and Fyfe will finish top 10. Heppell and Beams too good to pass up at this stage (If others move ahead of him, Heppell will be good M8/M9. Rucks - hoping Sandi will go up 200k and Gawn down 100k (wishful thinking). Forwards - similar to Back, Dahl and Macrae only forwards I'm confident in finishing top 8 and Heeney I think will have a massive season.
