Your rucks look weak (Hale and Fraser I wouldn't be too sure on either just yet) and you don't seem to be taking much advantage of the MPP rule. For example, having Krakouer in the midfield will allow you to move him and Chapman around to cover byes and injuries. Same could be said with Petrie and not having someone in the ruck to swap with him.

Hale is a MPP (F/R) so he is my link for Petrie.. Hale should play all games for Hawthorn if he doesn't get injured.. And Fraser should too as he is going to be GC senior ruckman.. My aim is to make money on Fraser and then upgrade him to the in-form ruckman for the season.. Or would that be too risky..??

I'd be surprised if Fraser held up the whole year, and a problem with having Hale and Petrie interchangeable (apart from Hale not being a great starting ruckman) is that your cover for Sandi is now your bench players. So you're going to be putting up with an average 2nd ruck score until Fraser is upgraded, and on the Freo byes you'll have 2 weak rucks playing.

Personally I'd change Hale to a MPP rookie ruck and make Fraser a better player, but it's all down to team balance and what will score you the most each week. Who knows, Hale and/or Fraser could both end up scoring well, but I wouldn't count on it, especially looking at past season averages. You'd be happy if either of them averaged 70+ IMO.

IMO that's way too much cash to be sitting in the bank.

I think you could do with another premium forward, maybe upgrade one of Tippett, Knights or Petrie using some of the cash.

I like the rucks a lot.

Defence is pretty good, although i'd keep an eye on Lake. He's had a very injury interupted pre season.

Cooney is an interesting choice in the mids, he's never really reached the elite level in SC that he has managed on the field. If the Dogs improve again this season maybe his SC scoring will benefit.

But hey it's still very early, so your team will of course change 100 times before round 1 lockout.

Just a little concerned re: so many coming back from LTIs in the bold - probs look at one/two per line max - durability worries so to speak.
As you have Petrie u could put Tippett in as the DP player - not sure how well Cordy and Bailey will go. I would look at Smith/Tippett - Smith should get some games and Tippett can give u some DP flexibility with Drew.

Why have 170k there if u can upgrade Robertson Jr to a premium - just my 2c - cheers.

Hoggy - looks a damn fine even squad for someone who doesnt play SC

Just one thing - do u really think that Vince will get to premium status - i struggle to see him being a worthy 6th premium - so maybe get another promising cash cow.

In the backs krak could be upgraded to 5th premium perhaps, but really i'm splitting hairs - cheers
