Jamar would only miss if he is suspended, which he may well be.

Johnson is not a tall defender.

I really doubt Bate or Dunn will get a chance this week.

miller needs to come in for dutchy. he is just a joke dutchy and is costing us goals!!
johnson for jamar is fine.
godfrey for read is he has done his hamstring he has earnt it.

heffernan and rigoni are a joke. shouldn't be in the side again. however, the biggest joke is ben holland in the team week in week out!

Dutchy does more for the team then kick goals. Gives us great goal assist by his presence and his second efforts are brilliant. Though his kicking is still very questionable his value to the team is not. He will not be dropped this week because he can do more then kick goals.

Good news is the split round will come up soon meaning an extra week for Read should be back after the North game

Jamar is likely to be suspended so Paul Johnson is likely to come in.

Read did his hamstring and will be replaced by Miller.

Bell unfortunately copped a corky and should miss and likely be replaced by any one of Heffernan, Godfrey, Rigoni, Chris Johnson or Luke Williams. Hopefully Johnson gets the nod.

I wouldn't be surprised if Miller plays down back as we will struggle for height and strength down there against Richmond. Holland will play. His kicking ain't the best (couldn't believe even he could miss THAT shot on Saturday) but he provides a good contest and works hard and has set up a lot of goals to others this season.

may seem like a defensive move but i would play Miller on Richardson.

i like the rest of you dont want to see him down back 2 much but the delivery to richo will be much better then it was to fevola and we need someone quicker n stronger then nicholson to play on him

i only want to see Miller down back on Hall, Richardson and Jonothan Brown until Rivers gets more baulked up

this will leave Fergeson and Nicholson to take Shultz/Simmonds/Stafford if he plays and Bizzell and Wheatley wont be forced to play above their height. Whelan will take Brown

That is one of the stupidest posts I have ever read. Holland was a gun last week for his 1 percenters and showed he is in our best 22, how could you not see that? Don't you watch the games?
My old man is a one-eyed Essendon supporter and he said he noticed Holland's good work. His skills need work at times but Dutchy's heart is in the right place.
Heffernan needs to lift his game - agreed.
Rigoni is an honest toiler who has courageously fought back from horrific injuries and I think he's done pretty well this year.

against the saints rigoni was the only player who had a good game lol. that being our worst game of the year behind the hawks.

dutchy will continue to play decoy forward and so far he has done a good job

No, decoy forward really isn't good enough as an excuse. We need to find people who are going to kick some goals - Dutchy is purely a waste of space until he can improve his kicking (and I mean he should start practicing just in 'little steps', start from 10 meters out and work back 2 meters each goal during training).

Also, with the 'decoy' argument, Richmond know how sh1t dutchy is, they'll probably leave him unmanned if he plays.

i tohught holland did 2 brilliant tackles last week and i no atleast 1 ended in a goal. he chased well even tohugh new knew he wuldnt catch them. i no it sounds stupid but hes a better kik from outside 50 than from 10m out. We cant afford to be any shorter , especially against richmond who are gonna b a very tall team against us
