team logo competition!

This is just an idea (not doubt it will die a slow a painful death), but how about we have a comp to design team logos that could be used under our profiles! That way there is no legal crap involved!

As Bluey has mentioned before, he cant use the actual logos here simply because they belong to the teams.

I know Sandie's suggestion has been a good one, but it would look better to actually have a picture instead of writing.

SO, what does everyone think?

i had the idea of using the UBB code to put an essendon logo in my signature, however that doesnt work (for reasons that Bluey is yet to get back to me and explain).
It would be like this (but with the logo in the signature area if it worked...............

It does look good, but the problem is, is that logo belongs to the Essendon FC and no doubt they would get F'ing shitty if it is used. Thats why we should design our own!

Yes CJH, I know that you started a thread in the suggestions area, asking bluey for some logos.

BUT, you didn't ask other members if they wanted to design the actual logos. I just wanted to find out if others are even remotely interested in the idea! IF they are not, then so be it!

To be totally honest with you though, the question has been asked for a few months now!

I suspect even if we designed our own we could not include the name of the club or its mascot. The clubs would probably have copyright laws covering that to.

Arch - Bluey posted in a previous thread (cant remember the name) why BigFooty cant allow club logos to be posted up under our names due to copyright laws, I'm fairly sure thats right?
