When Young gets some match fitness, the spot is his.Vital role i reckon.
Personally I'd give the role to vB, perhaps rotating with Sloane through the middle as well.

But we do need a CHB right now more than a CHF.
Play him, let him learn, then swing him forward for a few games this year to see how he's traveeling.
Next year we can think about bringing through another player - especially if we lose Tex
Who would your next CHB be after Davis? (ignoring Stevens given he probably won't be around in a few years).
We managed OK with Otten, Stevens, Bock & Rutten in 2009. What difference do you think substituting Davis for Bock will make?
Davis should get first crack at Buddy
However for what its worth, if this match up goes pear shape I would consider Hendo for the job.
I know that Hendo does give away 6-7cm however this is not an issue for this particular match up, reason being, Buddy does not take too many over-head marks due to his shoulder issues
the key to the Buddy match up is speed and work rate, Hendo is about the only player on our list who can not only match Buddy in this area but beat him
I like your thinking, but Hendo is still getting used to the physicality of the game. Work-rate wise he'd be all over Buddy, but physically, Buddy would smash Hendo.
Andy would provide run from HB. Though if he's moved the HBF, it may well be due to other player not being able to provide that run?
Would like to see him in the middle as well though.
