What do you suggest? not select him at all? Which, in fairness his form deserved. 2018 prelim should be in Dimma's mind and not played 80% fit Dusty. Cos 80% Dusty was not very good at all. Kicked a goal but played rubbish like he has all year.

If we're not prepared to play Cumberland this year then it's pretty likely he'll ask for a trade end of the year. He should be playing AFL football, wouldn't blame him for leaving. I have NFI what the match committee are thinking

Nah it's NOT good. He showed enough last year with how much he can impact the scoreboard. I get that he needs to work on his defensive efforts but he's going to have a good AFL career. Just hope it's with us.

How many times have we gone into the game knowing the weather and were too tall?
Its happened so many times its cost us the season. So basic.
Post 2020 coaching group is terrible. No one left and leppa/mcrae wouldnt be making these crazy decisions

Agree with most of that, except that Clarke isn't really being set up for success at all. Instead of full games in the VFL or AFL, they burn him being sub every week and he's asked to come on cold and have an impact in a quarter.
He's been reasonable with extremely limited opportunity. Let him play VFL or give him a full game every now and then, can't make him a permasub and expect development.
Ralphsmith has improved in recent weeks, I'd persist with him.
Miller has no position. Forward, back and ruck he was today. How the * is he meant to develop being thrown somewhere different every quarter? He's not Matthew Pavlich.
At the very least, Sonsie and Cumberland need to play out the year. Banks, Bauer and Brown need to debut and hopefully play 2-3 games each.

Hope you realise theres a match committee where discussions are made on selections - this includes every member of the coaching group. Mcrae was the freakin vfl coach and you reckon he had no input? You have no idea. Jog along.
