I am so looking forward to this weekend!! I really feel it when there's a 3 week break instead of 2!!

My team for round 13:

Emer: Ibbotson Drum Foster (I'd put Foster in the 22, and make Campbell the 3rd emergency if it were up to me!!)

Looks good to me. I would put Foster in for Crowley or Macca , just to keep everyone on their toes.

I'd like to see Ibbo and Foster in for maybe MCarr and Crowley, but I went with more what I thought the match committee would go for. I would be happy for Macca to stay for this week, and next. If he has two average weeks, then maybe time to give him a run at the Gummies. But who would deny him his chance to don the Heritage guernsey in round 14? 'twould be a hard man who would drop him before then...

I think Crowley may be in line for a couple of weeks in the WAFL. He got dragged against the Bulldogs for making too many mistakes - that's not something we see too much of at Freo, so I'd suggest that the match committee may have finally lost patience with him.

I'd be happy to see one of Foster or Ibbotson (probably prefer Foster - I think he deserves it more), but I don't think we can afford to play them both just yet.

That's a very tall forward line, especially considering showers are forecast. Apart from Farmer Solomon is your only forward under 190cm, and he played fullback last year. Swap Schammer for Mundy and it looks good.

Fair call dom. But I guess many players only last about 2 minutes in their named positions before changes occur; and I know your preferred position for Mundy would be Left Right Out, so yeah, send him to the bench and stick Schammer on the HFF.

If the selectors can place Matt Carr ahead of Macca, that would have me beat. Let's just say Matty must have the "coach and the mule" photos.

Anyway it won't come to that, Bell will be given a week for calling an ump in latin " you're a bald dwarf who knows b... all about footy".
