Young Drummy named in the squad at the expense of Michael Johnson (thought he deserved his place ahead of Warren personally) - rest of the squad remains the same as last week. Four to miss out as they are back to 6 on the bench again.

Fremantle squad: Peter Bell, Heath Black, Joshua Carr, Matthew Carr, Troy Cook, Ryan Crowley, Steven Dodd, Marcus Drum, Paul Duffield, Jeff Farmer, Daniel Gilmore, Antoni Grover, Paul Hasleby, Des Headland, Justin Longmuir, Shaun McManus, Luke McPharlin, Paul Medhurst, David Mundy, Ryan Murphy, Shane Parker, Matthew Pavlich, Brett Peake, Aaron Sandilands, Byron Schammer, Jarrad Schofield, James Walker, Michael Warren

Ins and outs?

Cook, Drum, McManus and someone else out.

Hope that Drum gets to show his wares.

McManus, Cook, Warren out for mine, not sure who else to drop.

Mcmanus and schofield out: The rest would be on match ups and niggly injuries - but would really like to see young drummy get out and have a dip. Would be a popular selection in my book

I would drop MacManus, Schofield, Drum and Parker from the list.

Would rather see Warren play than Drum. Drum can get a bit of WAFL time and AFL training under his belt, whereas Warren may actually be useful to us this year.

No real need to play the other three. Parker will be a regular, and the others may play a role if required.

Interesting situation, do we play younguns or go for a more full strength team?.

Still like to see Cook get a good run, he is still good value and has alot to offer the team.

Can't see anything wrong with resting Parker. I think by now we know what he can do, give him time off to chat to his wife.

Warren v Johnson, mmmmm Johnno had looked better so far. Maybe we are trying out a 3rd ruckman for future emergencies (Masai touches wood quickly!!!).

Is drummy homesick? do they need to take him home to see mum?

Surely he will play and rightly so. It is still a pesaeson game and we do need to see how he goes in case he is needed later on in the season.

He is a first round draft highly regarded pick after all.

With a six man interchange there is plenty of cover, a luxury not available in the regular season.

You'd have to assume Johnson is either injured or lost a few too many kgs in the last 2 weeks, because he has been a lot better than Warren and seems to go okay in Victoria.

i would drop johnson, mcmanus, gilmore (need to improve his kicking - needsto be low and penetrating not high and a mile) and murphy

Out: Warren, Drum, Duffield, and then maybe one of Schofield or Macca. The first three will all travel to learn the routine. There is no way that Drum will play. Not in a semi-final both teams want to win.

And kanabar, just a point to note that usually on BigFooty when we make our prediction we don't usually drop fellas from a squad when they aren't named in the squad. Otherwise it just gets too confusing. :D

DOESN'T matter, boys.
Geelong will belt the Purple haze.
You blokes have a lot to learn --- the supporters, plus the players.

You seem to have mistaken yourself for a person whose opinion and "expertise" actually matter. Next time when you see those big meany boys in purple, apart from getting partly aroused, find the nearest wall (you know those big solid things that separate rooms in the house) and then just talk, talk, talk, talk and talk to it. That way you don't waste BigFooty Bandwidth, you won't clog up our board. Hmmk Mr Inferiority complex :)

WHO exactly are the "big meanie boys in purple" Kapow ??
Surely not Pavlich ... Tommy Harley would eat him up out in the carpark.
And these are the Catters without Kingie and Ottens ... imagine if those 2 were on the park with the little purple lads with the anchors weighing them down !!
No big meanie boys in the WA docklands area for mine. Just very, very, very new boys on the AFL block.

I'd rather Ottens and King were up against the Dockers tomorrow night actually, it'd really be good to measure they were actually at. Sandilands smashed both Cox and Fraser in the ruck this year, I'd love to see him have a crack at the cats best line up! It'll kinda suck winning against the cats at Telstra dome then having all these cats supporters say they didn't have their best team out there.

As for big meanie boys from WA. Is Sandilands at 211cm and 125kg a big purple meanie? How about our lil fella Josh Carr? His big brother perhaps? Oh and let's not leave out Troy Cook because he played a very physical game against the cats last time they played. I guess you have a short memory.

Lemme take you for a quick flashback to the 80's with New Kids on the Block:

Listen up everybody if you wanna take a chance.
(rap) just get on the floor and do the new kids’ dance.
Don’t worry ’bout nothing ’cause it won’t take long.
(rap) we’re gonna put you in a trance with a funky song, ’cause you gotta be
Hangin’ tough, hangin’ tough, hangin’ tough.
(rap) we’re rough.

Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.

The more appropriate song for Jock Clarke 2 and his club actually comes from Lano And Woodley's The Island: Tee-dee-didlydee-deelideedildee, Tee-Dee-DEE DEE DEE We're gonna f***ing die!

Kapow, how about Pav. being beaten by a 2nd year player.
On some other threads on this board you'll find a number of your Shockers supporter mates aren't over impressed with the Big Pavlova.
Oh - some are saying they are just happy he still has 2 arms attached to his body.

He is rusty no doubt, Has just come back from shoulder reconstruction, knee & hernia op's.

He will improve. Not time to slash our wrists yet.

I would be more worried about the attitudes of some of your players. Its alright that Pav is underdone and I dont doubt he is a GUN player. But having a sook, staging freekicks, that is not the signs of a gun with his head on straight. No that is just disgraceful.
