Anyone in doubt he's building a nice team for the future, apart from Stander of course

What do you mean by nice ? This isn't netball. Even though we fired up for the Saints, don't get carried away with the one effort dude, still a lot of work to be done pre-post Sheedy. Sheedy took over some well groomed baby bombers in 1981 from Barry Davis, so Messrs. O'Donnell, Longmire, Sumich,Mckenna, Harvey or Knights would appreciate the same courtesy.

Take it as literal as you like, it's up to you, dude. I've always said he's the man to have the job up until at least the end of next year, whether he continues or not is up to the board and how he performs next year. Was merely stating to any doubters he is the man to continue for the next 29 rounds.

merv he kicked 17% of our scoreline, id take that any day from a young forward, the way he moves around is very jame hirdish,

thankgod someone else notices it aswell. i've been saying that since day one about his hirdish lurking techniques, not saying he is anywhere near as good as him but he has showed some good signs this year, would like to see him in the midfield a bit more though.

Think the old fella will coach this week with his operation? Could see a couple of lovely nurses in the coaches box through out the day....could raffle off a day in the coach's box based on that wishful thinking alone

As predicted, the coach wont be there this weekend. There goes my theory about those lovely nurses:(

I think he'll be there, he wont be the main coach for the day but I think O'Donnell will be coaching with a lot of instructions and direction from Sheedy.

:thumbsu:, but i think leave him in the forward line, i think if developed there for the rest of the year he could become more damaging and more accurate, if he kicks 2 goals a game il be stoked!

Without doubting the kids potential, i have absolutely no idea how Ryder gets a game so often. He may be a good player in the future, and i hope he is, but at the moment he is a mile of AFL standard and at times looks like he is not at all interested. I know we need 2 ruckmen, but he gives us nothing in this area at the moment IMO. He should be kept at Bendigo for a longer period to let him settle in and get some confidence, it is not fair on an 18 year old ruckman to be thrown into AFL like he has, it would be doing his confidence no good getting towelled week after week. Just my opinion....

Fletcher and Johns are still listed as facing fitness tests. Any word on these?

Barnsey said on League Teams last night that Fletcher will play.
Never sure how to take anything John Barnes says.

Apparantly Fev has a broken finger, but is expected to play.
Should help somewhat.

According to Kouta hes only dislocated it.
His wife is also having their baby today, so with his finger and baby and prolly little sleep, he MAYNOT be right ontop of his game

Or else he'll dedicate his performance to his baby and kick 15.

Spoke to a concreter who spoke directly to Flether as he was watching over their work, whilst waiting to use an ATM machine. He confirmed HE will be playing this weekend.
