if anyone there knws anthing about footy comment on gaspars game. some say he did well some say he was woeful. put it to me straight, did he stop his opponent, did he have shocking turnovers etc.....

Honestly he had a great game, stopped Russel Robertson completley(Robertson was scorless), didnt do bad with the possesions he had, looked like he usualy does with the ball but was quite good with his disposal.

Reading different reports saying Gasper was woeful, some saying he was brilliant....anyway I hope for the latter.

Just on this, with Simmonds, Richardson, Pattison, Thursfield and Patrick Bowden back into the team for round one I think our KPP and strenght levels will go up, have heard that we will have a forward line consisting on Pattison the CHF, with Schultz leading from Full Forward and Richo staying in the square, now that forward line is impressive when you factor in Pettifer and Brown into it.

Simmonds is one of the best ruckman and will get a chop out from Knobel, and with Thursfield back and firing our backline of Thursfield, Polak, Gaspar and Bowden isnt too bad. Newman and Raines and Deledio to provide the run with Joel.

Patrick Bowden can fill a lot of positions for us and can cause match up hell for teams.

I dont think it's all bad for us yet. We're not that bad.

Some of his defensive work was brilliant, but did drop a shocking mark in defence that led to a Jeff White goal that killed our momentum. Still got caight a few times with the ball, but yes he did stop his opponent.

Dont know about Thursfield and Patto but B2 was in the Richmond Team in the pre game, he did alright to, kicked a couple of goals.
