Despite what some are reporting, there will still be a few list moves made. West Coast will need to attract talent to fill holes, Essendon hasn't made apologies. If the draft is only meant to see clubs selecting 2-3 players, then there will be trade movement.

You can select how many you want in the draft as long as you have the picks. Clubs can also leave list spots for the rookie/SSP/MSD draft, so there are always plenty of options to fill spots.

That's true, although I doubt a smart list manager would leave too many spots open or want to top up on fourth round talent.

Josh Morris and Emerson Jeka have both been informed they’ve played their last AFL game in the brown and gold, while category B rookie Fionn O’Hara will depart Hawthorn without a senior game to his name.

Like Ginni, McCreery, Mihocek, Noble, Markov, Josh Daicos, Cameron, Frampton, Crisp, or the undrafted Elliott. Half our team.

Is Spicer the one that we were interested in but took McCreery when North got in for Spicer first?
He was.

We thought that by trading for Pick 44, we'd secure Spicer but he was taken by the time we had our pick so we went with McCreery. Turned out well.
