Re: Round 2 Teams Discussion

he's 1st emergency - and some doubt on adcock i would have thought

The order they are listed as emergency means nothing just so you know.

Re: Round 2 Teams Discussion

Yeah im hoping for Rockliffe to be a downgrade option now. Hopefully he starts playing around round 4 or 5 and one of our rookies has got to 200-240k by round 6 after 2 games from Rockliffe.

Interesting to see Stiller in as he may tag someone. Hoping its gibbs or murphy and not Carazzo.

Not so sure about that - whilst it doesn't mean anything in terms of restrictions on which EMG can be elevated - more often than not the 1st emergency is the one that comes in. in terms of our squad - the 1st EMG is usually the one that travels

Re: Round 2 Teams Discussion

Is there a partial lockout this week again, or do we have to guess the teams for the rest of the games? Could be risky.

It's a Brisbane home game, no one will be travelling so its up in the air.

Last week Port's #1 and #3 emergencies got the call up for Gray and Motlop. Inclusions are based more on positional needs which is why there is 3 in the first place, so coaches have a selection of who to bring in.

Out of the 3 Brisbane emergencies this week if Adcock goes down I think Rockliff or Proud will get the call up.

Re: Round 2 Teams Discussion

If Rockliff is not named next week, i may have to pull the plug on him. There aren't really any other targets I am interested in though an I'm not in dire need of a forward emergency so I will probably just wait.

Re: Round 2 Teams Discussion

Adcock passed a fitness test today, so it looks like he will play.

Was really hoping Rockliff would come in for Amon.

Re: Round 2 Teams Discussion

If Adcock is a late withdrawal, would you think Proud is the more likely emergency replacement?

Difficult to tell but we'll know before lockout anyway if Rockliff makes it.

Re: Round 2 Teams Discussion

Hope Kennelly takes the field. Not sure where he is on the concussion recovery?

Re: Round 2 Teams Discussion

We'll see then. Concussion wouldn't affect his fitness I would've thought. If he's right, he'll do fine.

Re: Round 2 Teams Discussion

If he's out this week he's probably a near certainty for the next. And considering its Round 2 bench cover should be no issue.

Re: Round 2 Teams Discussion

I actually hope that Kennelly is ruled out for this week because then i won't have to select 2 emergencies since i am sweating on Everitt, who plays on Sunday and is definitely a possibility to be dropped.

*I have a strong feeling Kennelly will not play this week so at least if he's ruled out tommorrow then i can put Hunt on the field and only use 1 emergency for the backline. Hoping he'll be fit but i have that bad feeling.*
