very happy with the changes, giving youth a chance. Stevenson deserved another game, Mitch brown IS a forward and a much better option then Lynch. Dalziell is a very good inclusion, adds a defensive side to our midfield. Priddis has probably been in our top 3 players this year, it would be great to have another matt priddis and dalziell is the closest we have. Adam selwood to tag like he did last week.
 
Would have liked to see Ash Smith get a look - that midfield looks way too slow. Can't wait for Masten/Shuey/Kerr to get back.

Lynch, Nicoski were out of form anyway, would have thought Paddy Mac would have been kept AS HE HAS DONE OK AS A TAGGER

Those bagging Dalziell in are being a bit harsh. Those that watch WAFL would know he deserved his spot in the team this week as well did Stevenson and Brown. Shame Hansen got injuried as he would have been ahead of Brown. Well I hope Brown shows something this time around as sorry to say I rate Hansen as a better forward at the moment and the stats can back that up in the WAFL

Brown and Stevenson ins are excellent news, although I feel a bit sorry for Brown given that the ball is not going to be spending much time in our forward line on Saturday night.

Lynch won't be back IMO.

Dalziell, well I agree it would have been better to go Mcginnity to Smith, personally I don' think Dalz adds much and he certainly doesn't have Paddy's defensive grunt. Personally I would have dropped Scooter rather than Paddy, if one or the other had to go out, but perhaps there are some low-level injury issues there.
 
Not surprised Embley didnt get dropped, but surely he would have to be on notice. his efforts have not been good enough pretty much all year. I cant see how Lynch will make it back in. If Brown is to be dropped again surely Notte and Wilson are better options than Lynch. Good to see Stevenson back in the side and would love to see Stevens in some time soon.
 
Embley is lucky.

But realistically, who is going to replace him? Some of our best (or most promising) players are injured, and there aren't any second tier players really banging on the door for selection.

And much as I hate myself for saying it... but I'm glad Lynch is out. :(
 
Has lynch run out of chances? Surely he's behind McKinley, Hansen, and Brown now for the FF spot.

Larri there was a period in the second where in the space of one play he missed 3 targets in a row by foot, he wasn't that great so it was more then just the HTB. His disposal has been piss poor this year and he needs a spell at swannies to get some form back.

Hear, hear. The other issue about it is how much he represents the pick-the-old-guy-who-has-done-great-things-in-the-past. He's had a fair old crack, and should be off to the seconds.

Largely happy with the selection mind.

Hey Andrew, don't run so much anymore and when you get the ball, handball it off to the guy next to you. That way you can group yourself with the Plodders and no longer be the easy scapegoat.

Priddis has been good but we DONT NEED ANOTHER SLOW DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDER LIKE PRIDDIS. WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?

So you would like Priddis x 2, dalziell and Adam Selwood in the middle? I'm actually chuckling to myself thinking about that midfield
 
Because McKinlay is roaming around so much, Brown could become quite lethal, because he will roam around alot as well.
Space for all forwards

We have a real mobile forward line.

The only thing missing is Hams to put pressure when Geelong set up down back

hopefully Embley plays forward...his field kicking is really off at the moment. if he kicks 2-3 at least he's having more of a positive contribution. i cant see it happening though...we'll probably put him at HB and he'll get 25 touches and butcher it again.

happy with brown and stevenson...not so much dalziell.

would've liked to have seen stevens in, we need something to get excited about before we lose by 10 goals.
