Neither does Neon Magic Davis and I bet he's averaged a whole bunch more game time than Salopek.

I don't think we want to trade for him (at least nothing that would break the bank), but we'd just like to bring him back home via the PSD and hope the Filth find something else they like.

One important attribute the kid has is that he can kick!

sometimes all players need is a change of scenary to come out of there shell! Salopek hasnt had many oppurtunities as he has been injured and struggled to break into the once powerful power midfield.

But Collingwood love dealing/trading fairly with us! Why would you want him to go into the PSD? :)

Good post, I've never understood all the talk about Salopek. If he went at pick 39 instead of 6 nobody in here would even know his name. He has certainly never shown enough on the field to justify this sort of discussion.

He comes from my area (Berwick) so I love to follow the players careers that get recruited from around this area, and Salopek is one. Classy player and his haircut's show that :D, but he has been a fringe player for a couple of years at Port and would always struggle to get a spot in such a strong side of recent times. He ma not have great figures, but that is because he never got a real chance. Omitted this week, but still has 1 final under his belt. Good Player, I would think he would leave Port to find a new home, but I would expect them to trade. He has value, but can't trade for him too much. Maybe draft pick or a mid range player (O'Bree)

When it comes to trade time we have dealt with each other, just not actually traded! Never mind
So you agree with haven't, good glad we got the facts right.
Telling us you want Didak and a first round pick is not dealing/trading - its dreaming

As to Salopek - based on Ports past trading ability some club will get him for nothing in the PSB

Willy need to win some games next year, tahts why we need him. Na, he'd almost be captain at our club even with current form, but he has been a constant disappointment for the power, which is absolutely fantastic. He seems another woofter with homo hair doo's though, and thats the last thing we need.

Clearly the best game of Salopek's three year career to date:

18 possessions, 3 goals against Richmond, the eventual wooden spooners, in 2004.

That's it, that's the best game he's played.

Brad Murphy put in 25 possessions and 2 goals against Port Adelaide, the eventual Premiers, in 2004, and we could probably get him for a 2 litre bottle of Diet Coke w/ Lime.

I really haven't seen enough to judge Salopek but bear in mind Choco has not been noted for opportunities to juniors. He seems to have decent skills. How quick is he? If he has good pace then he's a good target.

He is a quick midfielder with great skills!!! So a Bonus with a Bonus...he has had plenty of pre-seasons with a premier club, he would fit perfectly into lexus centre.

Brad Murphy just never looks like reaching his potential thanks to the Bulldogs never letting him play a game. As for Salopek, his potential looks like it will be reached, because he looks better every game he plays.

I am sure research on his TOG will show that he is just like the average player of finding the pill. Do the research before criticisng the amount of the ball he gets.
