man u
i have been overseas for a couple of years and just recently come back and brought a membership... just wanting to know where our memberships allow us to sit at telstra dome and are they decent seats? regards...

A membership lets you sit anywhere on level 3 at telstra dome (general admission). Most of the seats are decent and you can see the whole game. I would reccomend getting to the game 20 mins. before the start so you definitely get a good seat.

or if there are a few of you and dont want to be too high up . get there even earlier.

I tried to get level two seating for myself (GFC member) and a friend who isn't a member, we couldn't get level two for some reason.

Ticketmaster are probably the worst ticket sellers out there. I'd suggest get in real early to get a seat, as early as possible. Then you can at least have the seat and go up to the VB bar for a few pre-game frothies.

It all depends on what type of membership you have. I know that this week is considered a Geelong home game. As a result, Geelong Social Club members get level two seating free of charge.

I had the same problem. Luckily i have a spare membership (old man is away) that my friend can use.

TicketMaster are an absolute disgrace lately. Their new system is pathetic. After i was allocated seats, naturally i wanted to check where they were located (Aisle number) but the image of TD is actually surprise surprise the wrong ground (MCG). Very poor quality.:thumbsd:

how do we do that?

can you do that on the the melbourne membership?

Yes. I had a Melb- based membership for a while - you need booked seats at SS but can just roll up early for TD (unless it is a fully ticketed game) or the 2 we play at the MCG. Ring the club - they are quite informed these days - unlike earlier days when they couldn't tell the time of day, let alone how to book.

AFL Membership allows me to get pretty much first 5 rows every time at the dome. You have to be organised and book early however.

what about @ skilled? should we get there early for members seating or get a pre booked seat just incase?

ticketmaster i agree is a disgrace these days. i avoid it whenever possible. for last weeks game i got there early and went up to the gate 3 window and asked for a seat on level 1 with my 17 game membership. Front Row, no problem, no charge.
best way to do it.
I presume the same would apply for this week's game with melbourne 10 members and home 11 members as well.
give that ago

i tried for level 1 at half time last year with my melbourne 11 game membership and was denied. i was to pay the difference even though there were ****loads of seats left.

Not sure, I don't have a Melbourne membership, but every year I choose the 'add-on' of a reserved seat at the Dome for our home games.

I've never bothered with a seat. I guess years of standing at Geelong and all other grounds has made me used to it. Even at the MCG or Telstra Dome I still stand. Prefer it.

Haha yeah. I'm starting to love it too. All the away games I do.

I suppose it's just a habit from when I was a bit younger.

Have seriously considered stop buying a seat at both the Dome and Skilled in the past year or so.
