Do we have cricket design comp open?

Wouldn't be too bad an idea, though personally I wouldn't be so keen to enter.

After FLO but before the next season of the CCRC? Or after that. Fit it in the fixture of non-footy league comps. A nice even rotation of 3 each.

So I've posted my flat template with designs on here so far (get around Valencia in FIRA btw). I've also made another mannequin style one recently. Just canvasing what people prefer, think could be improved etc.

Both excellent and the only flaw I can think of is that the 3d chest shadow looks like a moustache

Personal preference which one you use really, they're class.

Would anyone be interested in a tutorial to make templates like this? I spent about 60 minutes on it.

I know it's really rough and it looks crap BUT here's the beauty of it. The design is auto-warped, using smart objects and filters. An extension of my guide to making realistic overlays. As in...

Yeah, do the tutorial. It can't hurt, surely? And there was the tutorial directory run by someone that it can be put into as well

Ok so I've done some more mesh work (realistic) around the torso and here is what I have so far. Thoughts?

Around the sides is more noticeable, trying to get a rippled effect.

Klim if you're at this level and applying meshes and doing that sort of thing, you should strongly consider doing your own template from scratch again, just to get a point of difference from bacon warrior's stuff.

I'm not good at developing templates on my own, but I'll try and see what I come up with.

So I've jumped in at the deep end and tried making a template

Would like some thoughts regarding this very rough template I have designed tonight, my finished project should look a lot different and will include shorts and socks I'm just trying to get some feedback/ways to make it look more realistic and aesthetically pleasing.

Not bad at all but the texture kinda looks like crumpled paper.

Gone for a more realistic collar using one of Cannavo's. Really happy with my progress, still trying to work out the best texture to apply as an overlay.

For the texture, try to find a picture of a white shirt, singlet, tanktop or whatever. That will make the fabric fold in the right spots and give you a more realistic effect.

Super. Cases like this make me question the must-have-back-view rule we have for most comps. This is more than adequate.

Maybe a smaller 2D version in the background, in much the same fashion as your FLO entry.
