That's easyYour issue with your realistic template is that you're going to have to adjust the angle of the numbers to fit the angle of the back.
The body is still on a curve if you wanted to have a look at fixing thatMade a Nike collar and added a bit of shine to the collar and cuffs.
Also made shoulder and side panels with a bit of trial-and-error stitching.

It's not a symmetrical template anyway, so it's not really that big of a deal to me.The body is still on a curve if you wanted to have a look at fixing that

This is the first time I have had a go at making a template
Top tip: trace only one side of the jersey. Once you've done that, copy the whole thing, flip it and join the two sides together. You'll get a perfectly symmetrical template.rugby template in early days...

The shape is pretty good mate, you just need to clean up your lines.
You're using illustrator, yeah?
If when you place an anchor point, instead of just clicking, click and drag and you'll create a curve. That will sort out all the little straight lines and corners you have there.

is their a way you can edit your shapes?
Or do I have to retrace them?
That's pretty good! But with a template with the sort of wonky lines, I think it needs shading of some description. Still good though!still fixing stuff up, but here it is now:
