Nope, I received permission and sent him a link for it. I didn't post in threads asking for feedback on my template. Nice try, though.

It destroys the purpose of this thread. It's to generate individual templates and develop skills associated with doing so. Once again, I'm helping you. You're only cheating yourself.

I found the curved line tool in paint was one of the easiest to work with when it comes to creating a nice smooth template.

Yeah I would agree with that, paints a great place to start for making templates imo

Don't you think he did that so illustrator users can use it. He didn't claim for it to be his. Plus, like gibbsy said, this is like the logo thing. You know we aren't for this sort of stuff.

What help are you after? It's a finished template which you traced. What else could you need? Congrats for making something which already entirely exists.

It doesn't look that bad IMO. Keep working with it, it's a very good foundation.

thanks the problem is the collar and around that bit and also the cuffs

Go to fangear.com and trace a jumper from there. I traced an adelaide training jumper.

I would've happily let it out but there was no interest in it at all.

Anyway, back on topic, Codym2723 with the collar, start with the back shirt collar, then finish with the front collar. Don't finish the back collar until it:
a) is the same size in proportion with the cuffs
b) smoothly fits on the template
c) looks right

Then draw up the front collar and make sure it also fits the same criteria.
