A spiritual successor to Top Spin, featuring a "number of" licensed players.

I am unreasonably excited for this.

A tennis game is exactly what I've been missing this generation.

They say it's a spiritual successor to Top Spin - I just hope it plays more like TS than Virtua Tennis.

Man I loved Top Spin - until I trained my player in the wrong areas and got to GS finals and didn't have the stamina haha.

Finally Top Spin returns. Hopefully it is fun.

There's some really promising elements of that interview by the way, worth reading the whole thing.

Will definitely get it if it has a decent career mode similar to playing on the tour for real.

Top Spin 4 (I think?) had a pretty awesome career mode so if they improve it further it'll be great.

Top Spin 4 was great, but the most realistic representation of the sport ever is still the independent title Tennis Elbow 2013 and the great mods made by the community. If it can get anywhere near that in terms of gameplay, and have the graphics of modern games then it will be awesome.

Yeah, it's pretty great. Much steeper learning curve than Top Spin or Virtua Tennis but so rewarding when you get the mechanics down.

Numerous bits of gameplay floating around for those interested.

Looked terrible for me to start, but when they focused on the constant and fluid player movement it really grew on me. Some of the shots are a little off, I'm ready for BA to give us anything on their effort for comparison.

This looks quality. Is there a release date set?

Same as XB1, or is it timed exclusive? I ask because all the promotion has been PS4 themed.

I could only find news about May for PS4 nothing about Switch or Xbox One.

May 2018 at the end has all the logos, must be for all.

    Good video as well.

Federer, Wawrinka and Kerber in the key art for the game.

Plenty of footage and thoughts in here.

And looks like it's coming to Switch as well.
