My young kids love it, which is why I'm particularly unimpressed with the timeslot. (Even my 13 year old isn't up until 9.30 on a Sunday night ). I can only imagine that some really good drugs are provided free of charge to the people that schedule tv programs these days.
I will be well and truly in the crap when my family find out that I somehow stuffed up the recording last night. I dont think they will do another encore perfomance so the family will probably need to huddle round the laptop. ( I can plug it into the TV, but I probably wont be there when they want to watch it and I'm the only one capable of plugging anything into anything else ). Ahh the joys of parenthood.

Decent 2nd episode, I know the show is a bit week, and IMO very predictable, but so far I'm enjoying it enough to keep watching. It's been ages since I've actually watched a new show on TV, so I figure I'd give it a chance.

It's sort of show that should be broadcast when there is sweet FA on.

I expected it to be terrible, but was passable, hence being able to sit through the episodes so far.

As Atheist has said - it's insanely cliched and I can even look past that, (the mother is a painfully wooden actress) but some of the episode plots that get skimmed over without explanation leave you a bit WTF and might turn people off.

Give it half a dozen eps.

Oh and is the semi love interest of the son, a dead ringer of a young Jan from The Office or what?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was actually wondering whether it was her daughter, it's scary.

It’s clichéd, it’s reasonably predictable, but for some reason I’m really enjoying this show. Another good episode on Sunday, with some interesting developments, I just hope it doesn’t have a quick decline.

Yep, it's pretty ordinary, for all the reasons already mentioned. However, I'll keep watching it, coz I'm a closet sci-fi junky, desperate for any sci-fi.

I predict it'll be on ch11 within 4 weeks

IMO the show Primeval, was a much better Dinosaur fix.
I only caught the odd episode though, because like everything they moved timeslots ( and probably channels ) until they found one that would kill it.

Seriously, are the people in charge of TV programming on drugs or something. I'd be seriously worried about spending my advertising money with them ( if I had any ).

Website says Sunday's 8.30. TV guide I use says "no match found" when I search for it. Next sunday say's "to be advised"

Refer to my previous post. They are mental. If you wanted to destroy a tv show and your ratings you would act like they do.

Just saw an add. They are showing it again next week. Maybe the 19 year old pimple faced programming director forgot to mail the cheque to the USA last week, forcing them to play some crap they found in the bottom of the filing cabinet.

Its filmed in Queensland and that is where Neighbours traditionally sends it people when they leave the show.
