I got stuck watching this with ze girlfriend, but now I am kind of interested where this goes especially with the Badlands angle.

I think it was good overall just a little slow.

They spent millions on this and they deserve credit for some really good visuals.

Obviously has problems that the CGI can't cover up.

The acting is horrible and not many of the characters are easy to warm to. I'm almost happy Wash went kamikaze. It paves the way for somebody new lol

Well done to the crazy bad guy hypochondriac, at least he was interesting even if it was a bit part.

Badlands seems juicy. Could be a human civilisation or at least that's what they want you to think.

It wasn't a great show by any means but I enjoyed it and am a little disappointed. No master piece but I liked to IQ it and watch it when I was bored.

Pity.

The show was rather average (although started to improve towards the end) but the death of this show could mean the death of expensive sci-fi tv, which will be a shame.

TV networks will just pump out more reality crap because it is cheaper.

This is pretty much a Hollywood jobs program.

I think these kind of things are just to keep the workforces of Fox ticking over.

Many are given the chance creatively but are unable to produce a scifi hit big enough for Fox to want to continue on with it.

They will either have to admit that they're dead in the water and sack their massive SFX studios or they can just keep trudging on with the same 1 season/axe/repeat strategy.

I think it's obvious that acting killed this not the SFX which were the saving grace.

I've never seen a show where nearly every single actor was so so bad. Firefly and Dollhouse were close I guess

Fox needs to get real with their casting.

I think the only thing that annoys me, when even an average shows gets canned, is i had just enough interest now to see where it was going to go. I had batteld through some real naff, to get to a place where i thought, I am now a little interested to see what happens....

Bit of a shame really. Started ok, got really bad during the middle of the season but the last episode really progressed the story line and got me interested in what was going to happen next.

Only once they tried to throw in a hook did I realise that a 2nd season might be possible.

It was not. Whoever wrote in that badlands stuff should be shot.
