I tape everything I watch (even when I'm home) on my nifty Panasonic digital recorder, so I just skim through all the crap, and watch some of it on 1.3x normal speed.

Though I do find myself forwarding the show everytime there's some kind of romantic or family d&m dialogue.

Normally turns it into a 20 minute watch.

Haven't watched it for a few weeks so gave it another go last night. That episode must go down as a new low point in this series. Absolutely cringeworthy. I won't be giving it another chance.

He reminds me of Kevin Nash when he was in TNA.

This is a good show but it's following an old formula.

Spoon feed to prevent thin storyline being exposed.

It's a good casual watch but I don't expect real long term joy.

Only watching because of serious lack of sci-fi around.

Loved the way in the pilot they had to make sure they put any thoughts of temporal paradox to rest by creating the "alternate time stream" I think this could still change as it's not really proven in any real significant way.

Even ignoring some of the cringeworthy and amateur acting or dialogue they're not advancing the storyline very well at all so far. How many of the episodes now have just been centered around the latest pointless threat to Terra Nova ie the bat infestation episode. Or the latest episode "oh no the power is out ". Boring.

That's called character development.

When the season ends and no storyline is developed you just know there's nothing there.

The real stars in the sci-fi genre are those that can drive the main story at the same time.

Like I've already posted, I suspect there is no separated time stream and there's some kind of conspiracy to do with the probe not appearing in the future. The sixers would want to be doing something fairly (extremely) important or the whole show falls apart.

How cringeworthy was that spider song. They looked down the vent and it was clean not one in sight before the daughter even said she was scared of spiders.

Dwayne Russell said on 3aw the other night that he would try to watch the soccer on Sunday night if he "could possibly get the household to turn over from Terra Nova". I think he has young-ish kids (both girls and boys), so i guess the soap angle of the show has appealed to young teens. I'm a little surprised that the show is a must for this demographic

Storyline now shot full of holes.

If it was known by the people in the future that the one arm dude was being sent in to take over because of a message from the past they would've expected a message for him to check in or at least have gotten message from Lucas that he had been killed.

If they have these portals to just drop armed men through Taylor would've had a bullet in the head by now.

I mean they would be sending these kind of important developments to the other side before asking about the kids girlfriend.

Either they pick up the pieces in a very convincing way or this will be axed.

Crikey, the Taylor character, and the way he's acted, is like a bad parody. He could be straight out of Hot Shots Part Deux
