Lily is good. Very popular though. All of those are ok.
The current crop are better than the last but I'm not really a fan of Penelope (Penny, Pen, Pea) and Mae is the watered down version of Mabel. I can only think of Mae 'Come up and see me some time' West.

I don't mind popular as long as it's not popular due to a current pop singer/actor/character in a movie.

One of my Facebook friends liked or commented or whatever on a post from 'Young, Black n Deadly' which is a social media page that promotes positive messages, stories etc. for Aboriginal people. A photo of a bunch of little Aboriginal kids with some traditional war paint. Cute.

Then the caption: Jhaqkeem, Ryder, Obel, Kruz, Kolt and Tyga-Lily.

Seriously what the actual ****? Life is hard enough as an Aboriginal person in Australia without having that sort of millstone hung around your neck.

Can confirm Abcde (Absidy) is actually on at least one person's birth certificate (ex worked in maternity ward for a while), but the worst she came across was a couple who named their kid after where he was concieved and what they were drinking at the time. This is no word of a lie: V8kalhua! o_O

Except they don't accept names with numbers in them...

Fair enough. Still awful either way.

Apparently in France you either choose a name that is on an official list of acceptable names or you lose their equivalent of the baby bonus. That'd wisen up most bogan parents.
