Ajay spelled differently so us Aussies pronounce it properly.I've never heard of it before, but after a bit of research it looks it like may have originated from India.
However, the name Ajay (pronounced ah-jay), is much more common.
That doesn't have quite a ring to it though.
Imagine twins called Joondalup and Gidgegannup.

Reminds me of Philip Gidley King (third Governor of NSW) who had two illegitimate sons with a convict woman and he named them Sydney and Norfolk (He was stationed on Norfolk Island at the time).
