Friend of mine used to work at a school in which there was a disabled black African child named AdolfMy receptionist just told me there's a little Indian girl at her daughter's Daycare called Swastika.
Moira is a very old nameMoira McEvoy and Giselle Puopolo arrived this week.
Speechless
Surprised poppy didn't go for a more Italian name like Gisella instead of Giselle, nothing wrong with the name though is quite nice actually. Moira on the other hand is straight from the 60s, big boy Mcevoy and his country way of life lol good on him.Really? I don't mind either of those, at least they are real names that have been around for years. I would say Moira falls under the 100 year rule and Giselle is a lovely french name.
While I can see why most of those are banned why is Honour on that list? One of my great-great-grandmothers was named Honour, what if I wanted to name one of my daughters after her? Perfectly legitimate name and no worse than Hope or Charity.
Swastika was appropriated from the Hindus in the 1st place but yes not a good current nameMy receptionist just told me there's a little Indian girl at her daughter's Daycare called Swastika.
