New Richmond coach Terry Wallace bought into the argument last night in his Monday night spot on 3AW's Sports Today when he said Collingwood coach Michael Malthouse had embarrassed the youngster.


"I thought it was actually embarrassing when he was brought on with one minute to go," Wallace said. Wallace said he would like to have Shaw at Punt Rd next year.

As much as the idea of having that ugly feral black and white *** on our list, he can do a good tagging job. one thing that would be funny is at puntroad.com they have a picture of him saying things could be worse at least we dont have rhys shaw on our list. What does everyone think? can we find love in our hearts for a shaw!? i would put up with him in the hope we turn him into a great player and then can stick it up the magpies - yeah that would be worth it imo.

Hang on relax everyone. Wallace was sitting next to his uncle, and obviously thought it was a decent thing to say that Mick Malthouse had made an error.

I would suggest they were chatting off air, and Uncle Shaw was po'd.

Wallace made a call to back his co-commentator. Cannot in any possible way want or see Rhyce Shaw at Richmond next year or the future.

you guys have to give terry some slack, already you are laying into him as you guys always do. with coaches (and i have been part of that to)....what are we going to do now castrate another coach? why dont you spit on him already?

i trust wallace. personally i would have shaw over Fiora but would probably be shut down by the conservative element on this board....so run with it guys hes our coach and thats it and we gotta trust him and his game plan

agreed. Those little victories dont count for much. Better to beat the scum twice durring the year and let them watch us play finals.

I think you'll find that most Pies fans would hope that he could turn it around. A lot of the criticism he gets is not fully warranted. He is by no means a champion, but he is not the dud he is often made out to be.

Most of the crap he gets is from one incident in a GF. The sort of incident that could have happened to any player at any time. How many full backs have kicked the ball straight to a FF standing the mark?? Is that any worse? He slipped over. Thats all.

If he goes to Richmond, or anywhere else, I hope he does get it together and perform.
