Was a good friend of my fathers I was only quite young when he passed have herd stories about him does anyone on here remember watching him play and what he was like as a player?

I never saw him play but from all reports he was very good. Kicked 10 goals in a TFL Grand Final for Clarence when he was only about 19 when they won their first flag in 1970.
That was equal all time record for a Grand Final with Alan Rait in 1932 for North Hobart.
Played 20 games in the VFL/AFL at Geelong in 1972-1973.
Died in his early 30s trying to stop a domestic in the carpark at Bellerive Quay a couple of rounds into the 1983 season.
