After Wallace got the sack from our club I was quite shocked at the fact how fast he got into the Media and became an 'List Analysis', it was quite funny watching Wallace go through our list on the TAC Cup Future Stars Show and point out our holes in our list when he was the main cause of the holes.

Remember, this is the guy that quit as coach of the Dogs with a few rounds to go in the hope of being appointed coach of the swans. Thankfully Paul Roos put paid to that. Then low and behold did nothing at Richmond in 5 years, apart from making them a side that could be competitive at VFL level at best.

I also think there are some serious sour grapes coloring Wallaces opinion of us, but I dont think it has anything to do with Juddy choosing to come to us and more to do with us embarrassing him and his team 2 years running in the opening round, especially after the build up to Cuz's first game, remember even Sheedy came out pre season with words like the Tigers can win a flag, only for us to belt the bejesus out of them and effectively end their season at half time of RD 1, and then to repeat the dose last year and effectively end Wallets career. Theres your sour grapes fomenting right there. We can win a flag by a record margin and he would still be questioning our list.

So I ask, why would anyone care what a guy with little to no recruiting cred in the first place given his own poor record, and with the obvious bias to cloud what little judgement we agree he had/has, thinks about our list.

I want more Terry Wallace articles like this. They're absolutely hilarious. Think I'll email my request into the HUN. Remember this is the guy Richmond paid 700k+ per year over a 5 year period. It eventually ended when his own players staged a mini coup and got him sacked after he destroyed their list with countless monumental trade and draft blunders. Terry might be totally incompetent when it comes to football, but he is very shrewd when it comes to sucking money out of clubs. He not only destroyed their list, but he must have walked away with at least 3 mill $ for his efforts. The scary thing is Hardwick is starting to sound like Terry.

Said if you didn't trade for Warnock you could have had Hanneberry. If recruiters knew Hanneberry would be so good, he would have gone top 5 anyway.

And yet, Fremantle took Suban ahead of Hannebery in that draft. I wonder if anyone asked Teflon Terry if he actually saw both of those kids play in their final year of junior footy, and based on what he saw, who would he have drafted?
