As for the Chris Grant remark I was just saying he did talk up Peter Rhode. It happened I didnt make it up. I was just trying to illustrate that even the mighty make mistakes.

Again my position on Wallace is clear. 2 Prelims consecutive finals, didnt leave on great terms both parties could have handled it better. We worse off for him leaving and even worse off that our club made a mammoth mistake in appointing Peter Rhode and under funding the football department. These two mistakes have been acknowledged by the club in the way they have now been fixed. We now have a football department that has more funding than ever and a coach who has had 4 preseasons and 3 trading periods and the team is going backwards. Its time for all of us to get over Wallace regardless of our feelings and make sure the current team is accountable.

Hang on a minute.Yes the second half of the year was crap but wait till the season starts before deciding if we are going backwards this year.
It was only one game so far with not our full team in and players in differant positions.Yes I know Essendon had more out but certain players out have bigger effects on teams differantly.You are as negative with Eade as you are positive with Wallace.
Geelong had a crap 06 and lost their first game to us and then won the premiership.
I am not saying we will win this years premiership but please be a little bit positive if you can.

I agree that you can read next to nothing into last week's NAB cup match.

But let's not fool ourselves Eade still needs to get to Wallace's higher standards in the real thing.

I think when he was hot Terry was white hot for us. I think after he left us he went to hell in a handbag and is now a spent force.

In the history of the bulldogs, he should be.

I like Eade, and think we're heading in the right direction, but to date we've had one finals win, a choke when we should've made the finals (06) and a horrible stretch last year.

It's a very important year for Eade.

I still remember that day TW was sacked like it was yesterday...he wanted it so badly on his terms, and to be remebered like the patron Saint of Footscray...the whole stage-managed act of 'one-final fling' and to say 'goodbye'...

Cute, but there was something a bit wrong about it. I think the 'sacking' was justified.

However, it did bring Peter Rohde to the table...who knows how well the Dogs would have gone in the following years had they not knocked off Collingwood in Rnd 22, a result which almost certainly secured Rohde's future IMO.

Doesn't bear thought, really...

I think we have to keep in mind that "evertonfc" was refering to a blog site and it was written by a blogger.

Interesting but not quite the same weight as a Mike Shehan, Jon Ralph, Patrick Smith, Michealangelo Rucci or Robert Murphy story.
 
True Acker, but these things come from somewhere. Probably just a couple of players seen out by a friend of a friend smashig a couple down on a day off. Who knows, and BFD.

Play finals or at-least show that the team is improving and Eade will be safe. This year the team looks the best prepared for a real crack that I have seen in years. Time and luck will tell. No injuries and a full list for most off the year will mean Eade will be under real pressure if the performances are poor.

Thats the funny thing I just voiced my opinion on the club which I thought was a reasonable thing to do on a bulldogs forum yet rodents like you take cheap shots and take personal swipes. This is the second post of yours in a row in two different threads that has nothing to do with the topic. Seriously moderators wtf? Id have a red infraction by now.
