Would anyone be interested in another draft as well if I started one on the domestic board? Have a format in mind and would be Australian domestic based.

AB De Villiers +

You might be thinking, that's a weird choice for a keeper. Considering De Villiers began purely as a batsman, his keeping talents have become good enough to be compared with any of the current day options. When you're keeping to the likes of Steyn and Morkel who create a bevy of chances, the selection committee clearly back your skill with the gloves. This goes along with the modern thinking of a keeper who could get into the team on their batting alone (ala Gilchrist), De Villiers boasts an average of 48.85 including 13 hundreds and has proven to be one of the most elegant and pleasing batsmen to watch.

Might want to wait until we're all done with this one. But yes, I am interested.

I keep coming back to check this one, was thinking it might be handy to have another one to occupy us as well but don't want to distract from this. Not sure when we will be done here but am happy to wait or start up now before we are all distracted by the Tests. Anyone keen let me know your thoughts!

I'd be keen but have to wait til I whip your international asses first.

MARK BOUCHER
ejyn1i.jpg

147 Tests, 532 Catches & 32 Stumpings

I considered a certain other famous wicketkeeper-batsman with a higher average cricketer who may or may not have ever existed, but I don't think he was as reliable against the slow bowlers. Mark Boucher was a more complete keeper, a workhorse and more than capable with the bat.

MICHAEL HOLDING

60 Tests, 249 Wickets @ 23.68

WIth McGrath troubling batsmen with his line and length and Waqar Younis swinging it in, my impeccable fast bowling line-up is complete with a genuine quick.

Saeed Anwar

Needed a Pakistani and still had a vacant opener spot so Anwar provided a good choice. A distinctive contrast to Sehwag, Anwar was known for his wristy strokeplay and ability to pierce gaps. An average of 45.52 with 11 hundreds and 25 fifties. Video below shows some of his talent with the blade. Some quality bowlers getting some treatment!
