From what I've heard and seen, I rate Richards very highly, but not Procter. Richards just stands out to me as an all-time great batsman, but Procter doesn't stand out as a batsman OR bowler... to me anyway...

Maybe you havn't read or watched enough. The guy was probably THE quickest of the quicks in the late 60's, 70's, bowled off the wrong foot and was one of the first real consistent swing bowlers. Fair enough you don't rate him as a batsmen, but the same can be said for Hadlee, Khan etc, but his bowling isn't questionable imo, he's one of the greats.
