Seeing as though SOO is all one dayers, why not the the Inter forum comp as tests? Last season we had SOO happening at the same time as International tests. This means that it gives more people the oppurtunity to play games as if they are only good in tests, it means they can play in the International series, instead of the same people playing both.

IIRC, there is a one day international series at the end of the season anyway.

Maybe one dayers during the season as a warm up but then tests after our season is over due to the time we have to play them.
Unless someone comes up with a draw which fits into every single league.

One-Dayers. Tests will take too long. With each team playing 6 games that's a minimum of 30 days (max playing time) for each team dedicated to the competition. Obviously both tests will be run at the same time but that doesn't include the rest time between tests.

It would take at least 6 weeks to conduct whereas the one-day competition would be a lot shorter.

The only way to have a test inter-forum competition would be where each forums off-season is synchronised to be at the same time.

Yeah agreed. Make it like a world cup style format maybe.

One Dayers for me.. Test it out first, then if its a success arrange for there to be tests and one dayers next season, or something along those lines..

I aslso think a new board should be arranged for this competition. This board already has one dayers, tests, internationals and SOO. Another competition IMHO would really clutter things, and I'm not sure that everyone is interested in this one!!!

I agree but good luck getting Fred/AA to make one.

I'd prefer Tests but as has been said if we did them mid season it would push all the regular season games back & I don't think anybody wants that.

End of season Tests would be good to keep the interest levels up but would have the opposite effect now.
