Fantastic points, love as a defender he doesn't sit back when we have it, wants to get involved, looks bloody silky when he takes off. Looks bigger than 188cm. A really nice size now.

Might have to sit in VFL for a little while longer as long as howie is killing it atm. Against a bottom 8 side if he needs a rest Im all for a TJ game.

A few of the boys are just going to have to be patient. Demattia/Parker other ones. Until all our vets bow out just keep doing your thing in the VFL boys.

I reckon I saw a much better version of DeMattia yesterday. If he continues to build on yesterday's game, he'll play games this year. Dean is the other one who's too good for VFL but not quite good enough for afl

100%, looks so versatile too, a fly special, plug and play anywhere and he'll just do his job. Hope he keeps building, a debut should come soon as we look to change the side a bit to freshen up

Dean looked solid enough, I mean essendons talls didn't look much chop, I feel like he can come in and do a job but def behind frampton and Reef now

A couple of negatives or puzzle moments for me if you wanna elaborate further haha

What the hell was smit playing in the backline? Because we have steene/cox/west playing ruck/fwd???

Strange move, Didn't really look like he had any idea what he was doing. Is he a long term ruck? Riley masons form pushed him out of the forward line? Our own afl listed players need to take precedent, thats why we split from williamstown in the first place. Looks to me like a panic move.

Cochrane starting on the bench?

This has shit me for a few weeks now. Push markov (won't be listed much longer I wouldn't have thought unless he takes minimum salary) to a wing, slide cochrane onto the HBF. Can't be having our afl listed players as a starting bench rotation.
Really small issue but it just seems so odd to me.

Don’t have an issue with Cochran (or any other senior listed player) starting on the bench. Their time is carefully managed and it’d be rare for any player to get 100%tog so when they have that bench time is something I trust the coaching and conditioning staff to manage.

I remember marvelling at his brother when he started with the Hawks.
They are both so athletically gifted.

Got injured after the injury list came out. I'd expect we'll see him mentioned later today when the injury list comes out.
