The media has gotten to the point these days where they cry 'ACL!' whenever a player falls over his own shoelace. Everyone seems to have the need to be the "harbinger of doom" in this day and age, wanting to get in first with the worst possible scenario etc - not sure why.

Hopefully the scan shows anything but the above scenario for Tex.

His injury was almost a carbon copy to the one in which Buddy sustained a few years ago now. Buddy played the following week.

Interesting you say this because his injury reminded me of steve johnson in the PF of 2011 when he hyperextended and played the following week too. Haven't read the whole thread so not sure if this has been mentioned, but this would definately be a best case scenario.

Not getting scans today?!

They usually wait a couple of days, until the swelling has gone down. Makes the images clearer and easier to interpret.

Was looking to have an absolute monster of a game and this happens. I hope it's just some bizarre looking hyper-extension with no ligament damage. The pies have had 5 ACL's in the past year and a bit, so I can definitely feel your pain, with Tooves being the latest victim .
