Right now I'm just mesmerised by Geelong's skills... but the contest badly needs a shot of excitement.

(and I've got money on this that requires Port to stay vaguely competitive :()

I was just thinking that the 2005 and 2006 Grand Finals were 1000 times more entertaining than this years Grand Final. The only people enjoying this Grand Final are Geelong supporters.

We have some good ones coming in the draft like Brendon Murphy and Craig Bird mate. :thumbsu: And hopefully Darcy Daniher under the father son rule.
No offence, but as a close draft follower for several years, I'd suggest Sydney has the poorest quality in terms of young players in the comp.

You need to draft well this year. I think O'Keefe, who you drafted at 15 last year, is better than people are suggesting, but you desperately need some class.

You don't know the players on our list mate. Daniel O'Keefe will be a gun. He would have played if it wasn't for injuries.

That's the same with Matthew Laidlaw.

Craig Bird from what I heard is a gun player.

Don't underrestimate us.

I do know the players. I've seen much more of them than most.

Bird is a promising ball winner, but was overlooked last year. Rover's are never that popular.

You should also note that I was saying O'Keefe is good. The most promising youngster on your list.

I also think Grundy will be a good player for us when Paul Roos stops sticking him in the defence. I have very high hopes for Craig Bird as from what ive heard he is the best player NSW has produced this year (and yes i know thats not saying much :D)

I heard Craig Bird could step up next year and play senior Footy. If that's the case, that would be a bonus. :thumbsu:

I hope next year's GF is far better than this borefest. :D I agree 100% with you about Heath Grundy.

A show of unity between Swans and Eagles fans is deserved. Our sides gave the AFL two classics, and for all the neutral whiners that didn't enjoy the last two because of the low scoring...I hope they are enjoying this 'spectacle'!

Its a boring as hell GF to watch. Ive turned it off. There is no point watching any further. I dont understand how Geelong can have 4 or 5 on 1 man and teams dont make them pay...
