Feel bad for Neeld. Not a great time to walk into the club.

I don't know who that currently is but if he doesn't have recent brain damage it shouldn't be a problem.Hmmmm, I don't think the ******* Head of English/Lit at Cambridge could understand what you're on about mate.

Yes, I too am interested at this "large chunk" of talent we lost
Don't bother, he doesn't reply because he has nothing to say.

I imagine if Howe is moved on next season he was never any good as well right?I don't know who that currently is but if he doesn't have recent brain damage it shouldn't be a problem.
I agree. For the record, I have no issue with who we let go - Neeld got it right IMO.
My issue is the approach of a 'net gain' over trade period...
TBH i have no idea about the guys we let go. Jizz from his lack of strength and endurance obviously wasn't putting the work in, whether he's a lost cause or not who knows. I just have issue with people acting like he isn't a significant loss ability wise. IMO it's no cause for celebration that for whatever reason the football department couldn't get through to him. It's great that it seems that a standard is being set that didn't seem to there previously but I don't see how it's out of line that I'm bummed that a potentially excellent inside mid has been lost to our system without what I see as adequate compensation. For the record, I have no issue with who we let go - Neeld got it right IMO.

They were all spuds because they don't play for us anymore.![]()
Interesting how a game changes it.I also remember Bailey's clean out and thinking 'he hasn't gotten rid of any of our major pea hearts'. Neeld has. BIG difference. I think Bailey and co's desired type of player can be summed up by some of the kids they drafted.
