Carlton wins premierships when there is no ex collingwood players in the side and doesn't when there is.
So thanks Dasiy and best wishes.

Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
The issue is, atm we don't have a guaranteed replacement. Not sure what the issue is that people have with this decision. Hard decisions have to be made in the best interests of moving the club forward, and many more such hard decisions will be made in the coming next few seasons that people aren't going to be happy with. Players are going to be moved on regardless of whether we like it or not.
Is playing well enough at present to get a game in any teams starting line up imo. Hoping somehow the club will change it's mind.Yeah when you consider that Docherty is at major risk of further knee problems and Williamson can’t seem to get his back right, there’s a fair chance Thomas would have been playing games next year. Simpson is also old as we know and we’ve seen him miss games this year.
Maybe SOS has a small defender lined up.
I’m going to miss Thomas’ attack on the footy.

With Doc and Marchbank coming back next season and the emergence of SPS off HB too, he was getting squeezed out next year. Its pretty simple and easy decision for the club Id suggest.

Yes squeezed out with the players you mentioned. Problem is that Docherty is coming back from two knee reconstructions and Marchbank's body has been very fragile. So there is considerable doubt on those two players. I thought he deserved one more season, at which time we would have a clearer picture on Docherty's return, whether Williamson can overcome his back injury and Marchbank's capacity to play the majority of a season.

So we'll march day and night.. by the big cooling tower.we are pretty powerless to do much about decisions like the daisy one - I sure get the dismay after watching his game yesterday but what are ya gonna do?
We know dollars are not the central issue, from Daisy's previous contract negotiations, and because we paid 46 last year (our entire 2018 list + Palmer + Smedts) and *still* fell short of the 95% Total Player Payments minimum.
No idea why we would move him on. We have atleast half a dozen players who need to drop off list. Pop on small contract, depth wins finals and he is a super clubman and playing great footy.
I reckon Gold Coast would be only club that might pick him up and he would give them good value. With all the jokes that he makes in respect to it, Daisy is clearly not aligned with the decision they made. His form alone dictated another year and I’d say he’ll keep the door open for another club to snap him up. I personally think it has nothing to do with age but that’s my view based on nothing other than observation of his form, and knowing that it’s not like we have a settled back 6 that runs injury-free.
