From what I heard on radio he seems pretty settled up there now and enjoying it. But who knows. And Nesbit, their CEO I think, said on SEN earlier that he will be involved with some other things (not coaching) next year.

Anyway only ever heard positive things about him.

Its a pity he is up there as he would go straight into the media....ala Dalsanto perfectly.

And Petrie and his family are so content in Perth that Casley is in discussions with the Eagles for his client to take up a coaching role with the club in 2018 and beyond.

Perth is a lot warmer than Melbourne. Having been up since 6am I think it's a good call for his family.

Plus I strongly feel that players who want to get into coaching need to experience other clubs. It's obviously beneficial. (The only ones I can think of that never did were Voss, Buckley and Hird...)
