He's certainly part of our best ever premiership 200 game team.

Fun/sad fact: Matt Priddis is our only 200 game player without a premiership. Gaff is 3 games off joining him in this sad club.

To be honest he had 3 years there you'd consider above average, B+ level football. Loved his work rate and selflessness. Hope Josh Smith can improve enough or someone takes his spot and turns it into something special.

I have no doubt a team like the Gold Coast could benefit from his professionalism in attaining maximum fitness and playing the team role. Whether they offer him a contract remains to be seen but they could do worse.

There will always be one quarter I will remember from Masten. He was everywhere, especially down the backline and at quarter time he had nine possessions - one kick and eight handballs. It was the best quarter he had every played and ever will.

I’ve given Masto a bit s**t at times over the years but he’s a hard bloke to hate. Great clubman who seems to be loved by his teammates. Limited player in ways but gave his all and goes out a premiership player for the club he’s loved his whole life. Congrats, Masto! Hope to see him get another opportunity somewhere else.

A great clubman and deserving premiership player. Had his ups and downs and unfortunately was always going to be compared to Judd which was entirely unfair.

From all reports however is an absolute ripper of a bloke these days and a true testament that i genuinely believe he did everything he could to get the absolute best out of himself.

He copped a lot of shit over his journey but always gave everything. Glad he got a premiership and hit the 200 game mark. I hope another club gives him another crack. GC could use an experienced player like him.
