Why when every none pies supporter seems to complain about us NOT traveling all the time and I just wanted to show how we support our team side by side as the song says the supporters and team to uphold the Magpie Name as one. No matter where we play.

The difference is WE own our Club as members we have the opportunity to Vote our board in or out but your Club is what? Owned by the SAnFL, the people that run your Club are put in place by the SAnFL and you my fiend have NO say in how your Club is run.
 
I got back this morning about 0230...and I think it will take a few days for my voice to recover! Well worth the trip over with the result.
 
I caught the bus home last night from boring town. Christ, never heard so few people make so much noise.

Watched the replay this morning, and the noise we made in the last quarter was extraordinary.

Loved the match, loved the fact we were challenged and responded.

If anyone has footage of Joffa's ring of celebration under the grandstand after the match, it was classic.

Gratz to the players, not just for the match, but for even bothering to acknowledge us supporters with a line of bows after the game.

Geez that was fun, lost my voice also, and now im absolutely buggered, but i'd do it again next week.

Bring on those soft saints, GO PIES.

Great stuff to those who made the trip and gave their support to the boys. It was sensational to hear that on the TV, made me wish I'd been there with them.

We'll have to get the chant going next week, louder and stronger than ever, to help our boys get over the line.

I know exactly what your talking about. When the magpie army marches forward there is not supporter base that can match the atmosphere we bring. Without a doubt this shows up when travelling interstate and get thrown into these so called lion's dens'.

But unfortunately the the majority of supporters who follow each and every other of the 15 teams cannot have actually recognise anything about Collingwood as a point of discussion, instead it turns into a point of trolling. This was made evident last week with threads about Collingwood going out of finals in straight sets and have no premiership window whatsoever (mainly coming from those supporters who's season is over!!!). Yet from yesterday afternoon they have all backed away into the back room and wont come out until we go to bed!!!

It is an ignorant way of treating Collingwood supporters and Collingwood as a club. It most definately is narrow minded and at times I must say I do occasionally treat Carlton the same way (i cant help myself), but 15 teams doing it against Collingwood, really does mean we should keep any discussion about a positive to do with Collingwood in any way should be kept off the AFL board... Dont feed the animals and they will diminish;)

yep.. pat on the back fellas that was a good effort.
sounded great. hopefully it comes up again next saturday nite.
my seats at the "G" for this year were level 2 Ponsford stand right behind our goals.
I always heard it throughout the season coming from the cheersquad below but it was never chanted from level 2 :thumbsdown:

Oh, and yeah, what a great effort by all involved on the day. When their tails are up (edit - no matter what), the Collingwood supporters are the best there are.
